Fanar Al Khaleej International turns the dependable Savana into a fast, hygienic, and fully equipped emergency response unit—engineered in the UAE and delivered worldwide.
When seconds matter, equipment and layout must work flawlessly. Fanar Al Khaleej International’s Special Projects team has converted the GMC Savana 3500 (extended wheelbase) into a complete Mobile Ambulance—built for rapid deployment, easy cleaning, and safe patient handling. From sterile interior panels and anti-slip flooring to dual oxygen lines, smart electrics, and life‑saving devices, every element is purpose-built. This project reflects our global capability to design, build, and deliver innovative emergency vehicles that meet demanding clinical and operator needs.
Project highlights at a glance
- Medical-grade interior: high-grade white integral foam sheets (walls/roof/partition) for easy wipe-down and hygiene.
- Anti-slip, waterproof floor: 18 mm marine plywood under polyurethane vinyl with 5 cm waterproof ledges for wash-down cleaning.
- Optimized layout: left-side medical cabinetry; right-side 3–4-seat attendant bench with 2-point belts and hydraulic flip-up storage.
- Dual oxygen setup: two 10 L cylinders, regulators, humidifier flowmeters, and quick-connect outlets.
- Independent patient-cabin climate: separate A/C plus 12 V roof ventilation with integrated lighting.
- Smart electrics: protected wiring, rocker-switch control panel, 12 V + 220 V sockets, 1000 W inverter, dedicated 40 A battery.
- Emergency lighting & siren: red/blue LED light bar with PA (150 W), perimeter strobes, and work lights over side/rear doors.
- Ambulance livery: Arabic/English markings, logo, and red crescent striping as required.
Inside the patient compartment
- Partition & window: bulkhead partition with sliding plexi window to communicate with the driver while maintaining cabin hygiene.
- Storage done right: aluminum-frame sliding-door top cabinets, open equipment station below, integrated oxygen cylinder bay.
- Care workflow: stretcher base with secure locking rails and clear central aisle so medics can work both sides of the patient.
- Seating & safety: doctor’s seat; attendant bench with seat belts; integrated under-bench storage.
Electrical & lighting system
- Control & protection: labeled 12 V control box with fuses/relays; fire-resistant cabling; inverter & auxiliary battery for critical loads.
- Power where it’s needed: dual 12 V and dual 220 V sockets in the patient cabin for monitors, ventilators, and chargers.
- Scene visibility: front light bar + side/rear work projectors; multi-direction strobe placement for safer roadside operations.
